The Artist Spencer Reinhard, whose tumultuous college years as an art student were chronicled in the Hollywood biopic American Animals is entering the NFT space with a release of his life's work as a 10k fine art NFT collection with a Sneak Peek Pre-Sale Auction of 500 NFTs on OpenSea December 1-4 to coincide with his Art Basel Miami Beach exhibition.

About The Artist:
Spencer Reinhard is an American artist that was incarcerated early in his life while an art student at the University of Transylvania for stealing a rare art book from the library with his friends. During his 7-year sentence, he began a prolific deep internal exploration through his art that evolved into a passion for nature, especially birds, in his post-prison years. In 2018, American Animals, the blockbuster biopic film about his university years, was released to a global audience. In 2022 he collaborates with Art NSDRS to produce the American Animals NFT Collection which includes the bulk of his life's work to date.

The American Animals Collection is Spencer's first deep investigation of the evolution of his life and complete works. In it, we observe the deep exploration of subjects like rehabilitation, transformation, and renewal, as well as a critique of the traditional notions of the "American Dream," in a body of work that incorporates styles, iconography, and colors from his different periods. The multimedia technique used to produce each unique fine art NFT begins with his hand-painted acrylic or ink paintings on canvas or paper that are combined using AI and finally detailed by hand using a tablet. There are no more than 84 NFTs based on the same design and each NFT is unique.
